Ryerson University, simply Ryerson or RyeU, is a public research university in Toronto, Ontario. Its urban campus surrounds Yonge–Dundas Square, located at one of the busiest intersections in downtown Toronto. The university has expanded substantially in recent years with new buildings such as the Mattamy Athletic Centre, in the historical Maple Leaf Gardens arena. It is also home to Canada's largest undergraduate business school, and third largest undergraduate engineering school. The School of Image Arts is recognized as a national and international centre for creative innovation in the study, production, exhibition, film, photography and digital arts.
