Hottake™ becomes official sponsor of the OeSL

Hamilton, CA – Hottake Media™ is proud to be an official sponsor of the Ontario eSports League, providing film, design and photography services. Their partnership debut began at the 3rd annual OeSL Olympiads Charity eSports Event taking place on September 21st at Tim Hortons Field in downtown Hamilton, Ontario.


The annual free-to-the-public event is supported by World Vision, uniting gamers and creating a great atmosphere for a great cause. Together, the event was able to raise $4,000. LAN tournaments were held for EA Sports 'Madden 20' and 'FIFA 20', as well as Epic Games 'Fortnite'. Hottake Media™ created coverage for the entire event including billboard and jumbotron digital signage, player and sponsor event photography and a video recap of the day.

The Ontario eSports League is the marquee brand and facilitator of both social and competitive gaming across Ontario. With the eSports industry on the verge of rapid growth, they have identified and are targeting the untapped Amateur eSports market. With over 7.6 million gamers in Ontario alone, they possess the leading platform that attracts the masses and centralizes each eSport's community.

Not everyone can be a professional player, but that shouldn't stop an avid gamer from both their pursuit to be the best or their desire to compete on a professionally organized platform. Traditional sports have had decades to build their Amateur system as: inclusive of all skill levels, providing a path to the top (scholarships, professional, etc), and credible communities for fans and players of the sport at-large.

The landscape for the Amateur eSports market is changing, and the OeSL and Hottake™ are behind it.
